Bali Helicopter tours

An exciting way to see Bali is via a helicopter tour. Heli tours vary from between 30 minutes to 2 1/2 hours in flight time and take you along Bali’s beautiful coast and famous mountains, Mount Batur and Mount Agung. There is also a Picnic Flight where you will have 1 hour of private time on a secluded beach in Bali’s Southern Peninsular.

Uluwatu Temple Coastal Flight – Approx. 30 minutes

Uluwatu temple is one of Bali’s most spectacular temples along the coast. The temple is located atop a limestone cliff, 90 meters above the Indian Ocean. You will fly south from Bali airport past Jimbaran Bay and Dreamland surfing beach before flying past the spectacular Uluwatu temple, then over deserted beaches, seaweed farms and limestone cliffs. On the return journey you will pass the famous 75m high Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue, carved by I Nyoman Nuarta.

Nusa Penida Island Coastal Flight

Approx. 54 minutes

On this flight, you will fly along the coast of Nusa Penida, an island off the east coast of Bali. From Bali airport, you will head east over the Straits of Badung towards Nusa Penida, a well known dive spot. Upon reaching Nusa Penida you will fly low past the island’s beautiful limestone cliffs and follows the coastline until you reach the island of Nusa Ceningan before heading back to Bali airport.

Helicopter tour over Lake Batur

Kintamani Volcano Flight – Approx 60 minutes

On this tour you will fly to the breathtaking volcanic crater of Mount Batur via the famous Kuta Beach coastline and Tanah Lot rock temple on the west coast. Lake Batur, Bali’s largest lake is situated within the Mount Batur crater right next to a younger active volcano which is constantly recreating itself in periodic eruptions of ask and rock. After circling the crater, you will retun to Bali airport via Ubud where you will enjoy view of river gorges and see beautiful Bali rice terraces.

Best of Bali Helicopter Tour – Approx 2 1/2 hrs

This tour will take you on a scenic flight to all the best sights in Bali. You will fly from Bali airport and cover Bali’s southern peninsular, flying over Jimbaran Bay, Uluwatu Temple and the Nusa Dua area and over the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue before refuelling at Bali airport. Then along Bali’s West coast, over the beautiful Kuta and Legian coastline heading towards Tanah Lot, the famous temple on the rock. From there heading north towards Bedugul, you will fly over Jatiluwih where you’ll see Bali’s most beautiful rice terraces. Heading east, from Bedugul you will arrive at the spectacular Mount Batur and Lake Bature before heading towards Mount Agung which is Bali’s tallest mountain where you will also see Bali’s largest and most sacred temple Besakih. Fom Candidasa, the return flight will take you all along Bali’s beautiful eastern coastline to Sanur, and finally back to Bali airport.
